Position: Luxury Kitchen Sales Designer
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £24-26k Basic Salary plus commission. OTE first year £35-45k.
Benefits: Company Pension & Private Healthcare after 2 years of employment
Working Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30-4pm Friday & 10-4pm Saturday Working Days: 5 Day working week including Saturdays with a rota day off during the week.
Location: Hickstead, West Sussex.

Role Overview

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Kitchen Sales Designer to join the award winning team here at The Brighton Kitchen Company. The ideal candidate will be well presented and professional and have extensive experience designing luxury kitchens. You will be target driven with the desire to work for a company who provide design freedom due to the nature of their clients and ethos. You must possess a clear awareness and interest in interior design trends within the industry and be comfortable communicating with high value clients. Experience within a company providing Design, Supply and Installation services would be an advantage as we regularly project manage & oversee the installations of our projects.

Position: Design Support Administrator

Role Overview

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Design Support Administrator to join the award-winning team here at The Brighton Kitchen Company. The ideal candidate will be a well presented and highly organised individual who has experience in Sales Administration. Your role will be to support the Showroom Designers and Manager in the day to day Sales Support and administration of the business.

Sales Administration or Sales Support background (Kitchen Retail Experience and advantage)
Knowledge of MS Office suite and experience working on iMacs.

Responsibilities

Meeting and greeting clients in the showroom and making them feel welcome.
Answering incoming telephone calls and taking messages and booking showroom appointments.
Ensuring showroom environment is clean and tidy at all times to maximise customer experience.
Making tea & coffee for showroom clients & supplier representative visits.
Generating invoices.
Generating payment receipts to clients following payments received.
Creating new electronic and hard copy of customer folders and keeping these up to date.
Preparing installer packs for delivery of client projects.
Checking quotations alongside Branch Manager / Designer.
Undertake final checks of quotations to ensure 100% accuracy.
Managing the installation schedule including client and installer communication.
Contact client to check building works on track for scheduled kitchen installation dates.
Liaise with Operations Manager to ensure all products have been delivered to head office and delivery to client site is scheduled for correct date.
Updating catalogues, samples and brochures within the showroom to ensure the are current.
Updating tasks within the workflow software.
Send review email to client and chase through to ensure completed by every client.
Contact photographer to arrange project photography.
Follow up call and email to client one month after completed installation to ensure 100% satisfaction.

Due to the nature of the role, it is important that you drive and have a car to attend client appointments.

Salary: £24-32k Basic Salary or £12.50 – £17.50 per hour depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience working in Bookkeeping / Accounts administration role and have experience dealing with Accounts Payable / Receivable, Forecasts, Cashflow, Projections, Invoices, Receipts and general administration of the financial aspects of the business.

  We contacted The Brighton Kitchen Company to help us with a large renovation project including a kitchen, utility room and bar area in a new extension at our home. We met Alex and immediately got on well and he listened and really took the time to understand what we were trying to achieve. He then put an amazing design together for our kitchen full of ideas which we hadn’t thought of that really made a difference. The quality of the finished kitchen is excellent and we are looking forward to entertaining our guests and using the new bar area.   After visiting lots of showrooms, we visited The Brighton Kitchen Company as we were impressed with the projects on their website. Alex stood out for us as very professional and knowledgeable and we were impressed with the level of detail which he went into for our kitchen design and he was very patient to ensure everything was right.   We decided to get our kitchen refit done by TBKC as their sister company TBBC upgraded our bathrooms so well. It was a major piece of work with wall removal, new electrics & plumbing etc. Alex did an amazing job of working with us to define exactly what we were looking for, and tailored the result to our needs, aspirations and budget. The fitters arranged by TBKC were highly skilled perfectionists with years of experience, and we felt we were in safe hands throughout the process. The result is simply stunning - better than we hoped it would be. We just cooked our first full meal in our "for life" kitchen, and couldn't be happier with it. Everything just flows and works in the room, which is fast becoming the heart of our home.   This is the place in Brighton and Hove to go to have your bespoke dream kitchen or bathroom designed. The BKC pride themselves on attention to detail when it comes to design, and will factor in the most minute and nuanced details, that you may otherwise overlook, to make the space practical and aesthetically pleasing. Ergonomics is also a key.
This was our second time using BKC, following the design and installation of two bathrooms a few years ago.
What we like about BKC is that their designs produce a wow factor, are trendy, yet timeless. The materials and products used are bespoke and of superior quality, while also nationally sourced. We had our kitchen designed by Alex, who listened to our every whim and at the same time suggested different ideas, which we may not have considered ourselves. Chris, the managing director, was super helpful with choosing the tiles -
we went for porcelain, mini metro dark green.
We are now looking forward to the kitchen being finally finished, just in time for Christmas. Pics to follow.

  Chris, Darren and TBKC team did a fabulous job with the design and fitting of our bespoke Shaker in-frame kitchen. It was not a straightforward job at all due to some architectural quirks of the house and some non-standard requests on my part. They were patient, communicative, helpful, and they had my back every step of the way. The kitchen was installed as part of a whole-house renovation where the TBKC team had to work under non-ideal circumstances (I chose the wrong building contractors, unfortunately) and they were extremely flexible during a busy time to deliver as promised. TBKC is composed of real artisans who take pride in their work so I'm not surprised that the final result is breathtaking, functional and the high quality I expected for the price point.
